One of the major international championships for equestrianism is the FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG). It is organized by the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI).This equestrian championship is held every four years, halfway among sets of successive Summer Olympic Games since 1990. Prior to then, all ten of the FEI’s individual disciplines held split championships usually in different countries.

The United States Open Tennis Championships is a hard court tennis tournament. The tournament is the modern version of one of the oldest tennis championships in the world, the U.S. National Championship, for which men's singles was first contested in 1881. Since 1987, the US Open has been chronologically the fourth and final tennis major comprising the Grand Slam each year; the other three, in chronological order, are the Australian Open, the French Open and Wimbledon.

The Asian Games are officially known as Asiad. The Games were first held in 1951. The Asian Games were last held in Incheon in South Korea in 2014. The next event will be held in Jakarta Indonesia in 2018.
At the 2014 Asian Games, there were 36 total sports included in the program, comprising 28 Olympic Events and 8 Non-Olympic Events.
Gothenburg, Sweden
The Scandinavian Masters, currently known as the Nordea Masters for sponsorship reasons, is an annual golf tournament on the European Tour that is played in Sweden.
The tournament has its origins in the Volvo Open and the Scandinavian Enterprise Open, which, in 1973, became the first Swedish stop on the European Tour schedule. The Scandinavian Masters is currently the only European Tour event to be held in Scandinavia, and in 2013 had a prize fund of €1.5 million, which is at the lower end of the scale for European Tour events held in the tour's home continent.
Missouri, USA
The 2018 PGA Championship is the forthcoming 100th PGA Championship that will take place from August 9–12 at Bellerive Country Club in Town and Country, Missouri. This will be the second PGA Championship and third major at Bellerive. It will also be the last held in the month of August; just before the 2017 tournament, the PGA announced that the Championship will move to May in 2019.
